Broadside Unveils "Dark Passenger" and Announces Upcoming Album Nowhere, At Last
Broadside returns with their new single "Dark Passenger," out on Friday, January 16th via Thriller Records. The release arrives alongside an official music video and serves as the announcement of the band's upcoming album Nowhere, At Last, due out on April 10th.
Broadside's vocalist Oliver Baxxter shares:
"Dark Passenger is about that familiar inner shadow—when anxiety or depression stops feeling like a visitor and starts feeling like a roommate. It’s the push-pull of hating what it’s doing to you, but still embracing it, because the chaos of self-sabotage can feel so comforting."

"Dark Passenger" taps into that part of yourself that feels impossible to shake, the habits and patterns that become comfortable even when they are harmful. The song captures the exhaustion of fighting those instincts and the strange relief that comes with giving in, letting the darkness ride alongside you instead of pushing it away. It acknowledges how easy it is to confuse intensity with connection and how hard it can be to walk away from something that feels like home, even when it is quietly pulling you under.
